In line with expanding the offering to a wider range of health, safety and environmental courses at more centres and via more learning methods, Astutis has recruited two new consultants to bring breadth and depth of knowledge and experience to the fast growing tutor team. Both have worked with Astutis management as trainers for a number of years.
Diane Allen MSc. CMIOSH
Diane has come on board to deliver IOSH and NEBOSH accredited courses, drawing on her 15 years' experience as a tutor and a NEBOSH Examiner. Diane commenced her career as a Physiotherapist, becoming a Manual Handling Advisor in both acute and community hospital trusts before focusing on a health and safety management role once NEBOSH Diploma qualified, in this sector.
Based on her professional background she also specialises in providing manual handling and ergonomic training and consultancy solutions. "I love training, meeting people from different walks of life, spending a few days with them and coaching them for their work." Diane shares.
Chris Pollington CMIOSH
Chris joins the team strengthening the construction and CDM expertise having worked in the construction sector as well as blue chip international manufacturing companies. He also delivers the full suite of NEBOSH courses and will be working with our international clients as well as those across the UK.
Chris comments, "To train well you need empathy will delegates and be able to share in the fun of working with brilliant people in what can be quite a stressful situation for them. The delegates that I teach are personal to me and I care very much about how well they do and do my utmost to help them succeed. It is a privilege to train them”.
We are delighted to welcome on board our newest members of the training and consultancy team. Adding to the already broad Astutis skill base, we are certain they will hit the ground running and wish them well!
