Assessment for the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma adopts a practical approach. The diploma is assessed entirely through practical work and scenario-based questions.
DI1 is assessed with a practical assignment split into 4 sections:
Units DI2 and DI3 are assessed through case studies and scenario-based questions. Completing the assessments and submitting the work to the NEBOSH online portal typically takes 2-4 weeks. It is recommended to allocate approximately 40 hours for the DI1 assignment and 20 hours each for the DI2 and DI3 assignments.

The NEBOSH International Diploma is moving to Ofqual regulation, and as a result is now known as the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals.
The course syllabus and learning outcomes remain the same as the previous specification.
The main driver in this change was to restore all International learners the ability to use their qualification to achieve IOSH membership.
