To enroll in this diploma, you should have a fundamental understanding of health and safety issues, such as risk management, hazard control, accident investigation, and international regulation. We recommend having a fundamental understanding of health and safety issues either through a foundation-level qualification like the NEBOSH General Certificate or at least five years of health and safety work experience before embarking on this course.

The NEBOSH International Diploma is moving to Ofqual regulation, and as a result is now known as the NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals.
The course syllabus and learning outcomes remain the same as the previous specification.
The main driver in this change was to restore all International learners the ability to use their qualification to achieve IOSH membership.
